Shawn joined Alatus in April of 2023.

As a Senior Project Manager for Alatus Construction, Shawn oversees the project management staff and the field personnel for this newly-formed construction group.  He has 25+ years of experience in engineering, building design, construction estimating, construction management and real estate development.  The majority of his career has been focused on the successful planning and delivery of commercial construction projects for his clients.

Prior to joining Alatus, Shawn managed projects for Minneapolis-based general contractors such as Amcon and Kraus Anderson.  His clients have included Cabela's, the University of Minnesota, the Amplatz Hospital, the University of South Dakota, the City of Minneapolis, Hormel Foods, Northern Tool and Equipment, Muller Family Theaters, Mille Lacs Health System, Roers, the Veterans Administration and the FBI.

Most recently Shawn has been managing the construction of multi-family and health care projects for Anderson Companies.  As fate would have it, Alatus, a client of Shawn’s, decided to absorb the Anderson Companies construction team and form Alatus Construction. Shawn and his team now manage the construction of Alatus’ in-house, development projects.

Shawn is a graduate of the University of Minnesota – Minneapolis and has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  He has been a registered Civil Engineer in the State of Minnesota for over 25 years.
