DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE & MARKETING MANAGER
Carla joined Alatus LLC in February 2011.
Carla supports the Alatus Executive team in vetting and implementing multi-faceted real-estate development and investment strategies throughout all project phases (including market research, feasibility, site acquisition, entitlement, contracts, programming, design, financing, construction, leasing/marketing, property management, and/or disposition). She serves as primary point of contact for project partners and third-parties, and coordinates daily real estate development operations and communications to ensure projects progress on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with Alatus standards.
Carla also acts as an Asset Manager on Alatus’ behalf and serves as a primary resource for 3rd party property managers. She represents ownership interests to prioritize and maintain high-quality, efficient operations and maximize revenue streams per project. Carla is also responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing, communications, brand management, creative development, and related functions for Alatus and various holdings and development projects as directed.
Previously at Alatus, she directly managed the in-house customer service, marketing, and sales teams to ensure and exceed revenue and quality goals for Minneapolis Venture, LLC – a commercial real estate portfolio of owned and managed parking assets valued in excess of $100 million. She was responsible for brand management, and developed and oversaw all advertising and sales strategies, budgets, and collateral materials. Carla helped to foster a positive identity for the company and team members both externally and internally.
Through multiple professional roles and internships, Carla has 10+ years of management experience focused in marketing, sales, customer service, team development, and creative development/design. Carla graduated in 2009 from the Carlson School of Management (UMN) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing with Minor in Mass Communication, and has completed coursework in graphic design.
